WCIG
WCIG supports people facing disadvantage to live the life they want through meaningful employment, training, and increased independence. We’re a not-for-profit dedicated to empowering people to meet their goals and reach their potential.
WCIG’s Transition to Work (TtW) service offers tailored employment and education-related assistance, including job coaching, mentoring, cover letter writing and enrolment into various activities to young people between the ages of 15-24 years. We also provide ongoing on-the-job support for young people in paid employment or full-time study. We provide access to internal health and allied services, including counselling and emergency housing related assistance. We can assist with the job-related expenses (e.g., safety clothing) or the fees associated with enrolling in a suitable course.
We keep in regular contact with our participants and host many fun activities throughout the year. Our hub at Craigieburn Central includes a youth space with access to computers and printing facilities. You can even enjoy a game of foosball.
Keen on joining WCIG TtW Craigieburn, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us for more info or see how we can help you.
